• Board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing advanced techniques in joint replacement. He received his doctoral degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at South Point Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic Hospital, acting as chief resident in 2012.
• Awardee of the Joint Service Commendation Medal as well as two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals for his time as an orthopedics surgeon in the US Navy, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
