James T Carson, MD, MPH

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Spanish from the University of Michigan. He began his medical studies at St. John’s Hopkins University and earned a dual degree in medicine and Public Health. He went on to complete this Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Howard University and was fellowship trained in hip and knee replacements at the University of Chicago.

• Significant experience and extensive training on treating the multitude of complications that can occur secondary to joint replacement.
• Specializes in hip and knee replacements.
• Member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, National Medical Association, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
